C-WALL by Jakob der Bruder

The URBAN NATION Museum presents an artistic program in public space that goes beyond the current exhibition LOVE LETTERS TO THE CITY.
For the opening of the exhibition and as part of the Bülow Street Festival, Maxim Brandt, CAZ.L, Kasia Dudziak, Nerea Ferrer, Rommy González, Pablo ientile, Jakob der Bruder, Felix Lies, Kristina Popov, Snyder, wanitapagihari, WESR and Jazoo Yang have created new murals, so-called C-Walls, which take up the exhibition theme around the URBAN NATION Museum.

This C-Wall, created by Jakob der Bruder, is a vivid embodiment of his artistic idea: “De-construct to construct.” The artwork is characterized by a multi-layered mix of geometric shapes, bold colors and dynamic patterns. Jakob the Brother draws inspiration from his surroundings, and in this case he creates a link to the URBAN NATION Museum by incorporating the museum’s name into the design. This element not only anchors the artwork in its surroundings, but also emphasizes the idea of breaking up existing structures, ideas or systems in order to reconstruct them in an improved form. The visual complexity challenges conventional patterns and forms, inviting critical examination to pave the way for innovation and progress. The work captures this crucial moment of transformation and illustrates that without such a process, development stagnates.
