C-WALL by Snyder

The URBAN NATION Museum presents an artistic program in public space that goes beyond the current exhibition LOVE LETTERS TO THE CITY.
For the opening of the exhibition and as part of the Bülow Street Festival, Maxim BrandtCAZ.LKasia DudziakNerea FerrerRommy GonzálezPablo ientileJakob der BruderFelix LiesKristina PopovSnyderwanitapagihariWESR and Jazoo Yang have created new murals, so-called C-Walls, which take up the exhibition theme around the URBAN NATION Museum.

The mural features a striking depiction of a Siberian tiger, with its intense gaze and majestic appearance capturing attention through vibrant colors and dynamic patterns. The artwork’s intricate design highlights the tiger’s distinctive fur patterns, vividly portrayed in shades of orange, blue, white, and black. This portrayal of the tiger serves as a powerful reminder of its endangered status. The artist explains: “Of the many endangered species, the Siberian tiger is deeply ingrained in our collective memory. Its majestic appearance, with its distinctive fur pattern, ensures a regular presence in all media. Unfortunately, this masks the harsh reality of how few remain. One thing is clear: to preserve this fascinating species, the tiger should not have to tolerate human-induced changes in its natural habitat. Only by protecting these habitats can the tiger survive.”
