C-Wall by Jazoo Yang

The URBAN NATION Museum presents an artistic program in public space that goes beyond the current exhibition LOVE LETTERS TO THE CITY.
For the opening of the exhibition and as part of the Bülow Street Festival, Maxim BrandtCAZ.LKasia DudziakNerea FerrerRommy GonzálezPablo ientileJakob der BruderFelix LiesKristina PopovSnyderwanitapagihariWESR and Jazoo Yang have created new murals, so-called C-Walls, which take up the exhibition theme around the URBAN NATION Museum.

The artist Jazoo Yang warmly invited the passersby to become part of a unique community artwork on the Bülow Street Festival. People had to place their personal fingerprint on the wall and leave a colorful trace. Together, they transformed this place into a vibrant work of art—every fingerprint counted.
Jazoo Yang, born in 1979, is a South Korean artist who often creates site-specific installations using found materials, uncovering layers of the past in urban spaces. The exploration of architecture, neighborhoods, and urban development plays a significant role in her work. Her most famous series, “Dots,” was created on a building slated for demolition. During her work, people from the neighborhood shared their stories and memories with the artist. The installation explores the connection we have with our own history, but it also addresses human habitation and the continuous evolution of the places we live in.
